LEAGUE HISTORY: The
Bantam Football Program was established in 1970 by the Greenwood
Jaycees, operating under their guidance for two years. In 1972, the
Jaycees transferred control of the program to a group of local
residents. That same year, the State of Indiana granted a “Charter of
Incorporation,” officially founding the Greenwood Bantam Football
League, Inc. (GBFL), a not-for-profit organization.
