This team is for players entering 6th grade during the 2024-2025 school year. This is a new advanced football team that we have added for this year. All the mid-state youth leagues will have an advanced football team and we will all play each other as well as some out of conference games. This team is only for players that are ready to make that next step into more of a middle school football look. We expect these players to have played before and have some experience to add to the team. This is a more competitive team, and this team will play to win. So, there is no equal playing time as in the other divisions. The coaches will put the best team on the field to be productive and competitive. Also, depending on the number of kids that tryout, we may have to cut some kids and place them on an older league team. We are looking to have 18-20 kids on this team. We understand that not all 6th graders are ready for this and that is perfectly fine, and we offer the chance to play in our regular 5th and 6th grade older league division for those players. This league is for players entering 5th and 6th grade during the 2024-2025 school year. We offer a fun and instructional league that will help your child develop the skills they need to play this game. We work on building kids' confidence so that they can achieve their goals in any sport. Every kid plays and we evenly disperse teams for fairness. We do offer a competitive division for 6th graders if you wish to try out for this, please sign up under the 6th Grade Advanced Football team division. If your 6th grader is not ready for this that is perfectly fine, and they just need to sign up for the older league division.

The rookie league is for children entering 1st or 2nd grade for the 2024-2025 school year. Child must be 6 years of age by August 1st and not yet 9 years of age by August 1st.

Children entering 1st grade must be approved by GBFL board. Please contact us for more information.
